Epigenetic clock testing

What is epigenetic clock testing?

Epigenetic clock testing is a test that measures biological age by analyzing DNA methylation patterns. In addition to chronological age, it helps evaluate the progression of aging in the body and understand health conditions and disease risks.

Tumor marker testing

What is a tumor marker test?

Tumor marker tests are intended to assist in the diagnosis of cancer, monitor its progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. Tumor markers are specific substances produced by cancer cells or cells that react to them. These provide clues as to the presence or absence of cancer and its progression, but the value alone cannot be used to determine the presence or absence of cancer. A comprehensive assessment is made in conjunction with other test results.

Major cancers for which tumor marker tests are performed
  • Thyroid cancer: CEA

  • Lung cancer: CYFRA, CEA, ProGRP, NSE

  • Esophageal cancer: SCC, CEA

  • Gastric cancer: CEA, CA19-9

  • Colon cancer: CEA, CA19-9

  • Liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma): AFP, PIVKA-II, AFP-L3 fraction

  • Biliary tract cancer: CA19-9, CEA

  • Pancreatic cancer: CA19-9, SPan-1, DUPAN-2, CEA, CA50

  • Renal pelvis and ureter cancer: NMP22

  • Bladder cancer: NMP22, BTA

  • Prostate cancer: PSA

  • Breast cancer: CEA, CA15-3

  • Cervical cancer: SCC, CA125, CEA

  • Ovarian cancer: CA125

MicroRNA testing

What is microRNA testing?

MicroRNA testing is a test that is useful for the early detection of diseases such as cancer by examining changes in a substance called microRNA. In particular, it may be possible to evaluate early-stage cancer that is difficult to detect using diagnostic imaging, as well as the risk of cancer recurrence.

Cancers to be tested for
  • Colorectal cancer

  • Stomach cancer

  • Esophageal cancer

  • Breast cancer

  • lung cancer

  • Pancreatic cancer

  • Biliary tract cancer

  • Liver cancer

  • Bladder cancer

  • Lymphoma

  • leukemia

  • Brain tumors

  • Prostate cancer (male)

  • Ovarian cancer (female)

Prenatal testing (NIPT)

What is NIPT?

NIPT is a blood test that checks for the possibility of certain chromosomal disorders (trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18, trisomy 13) in the baby inside the womb.

Inspection period and method

After the 9th or 10th week of pregnancy, 10 to 20 ml of blood is taken from the pregnant woman and the fetal cfDNA suspended in the blood is analyzed.

Test results

Results are reported as "positive," "negative," or "pending."

"Positive" means that there is a high possibility of the disease. If the test result is "positive," a confirmatory test using amniotic fluid cells or chorionic villus cells is required. If the result is "indeterminate," you will need to consult again about the next course of action.
